Dr. Ammar Awadi was born and raised in Baghdad where he eventually sought a career in the world of dentistry. Growing up, he became greatly interested in becoming someone who could make a positive impact on the lives of others around him. Since dentistry offered a way to be technical, creative, and hands-on with work, he decided this would be the avenue for him.
Dr. Awadi attended Baghdad University to first obtain his Bachelor of Dental Surgery before moving to the United States to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University. During his schooling, he discovered endodontics and how it could change lives by saving teeth and eliminating pain. He continued studying at Boston University to obtain his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study and Master of Science in Dentistry in Endodontics. Today, he is a board-eligible professional who remains dedicated to continuing his education through extensive training as well as his membership in the American Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontists.
Away from the office, Dr. Awadi enjoys watching sports (particularly soccer) as well as spending time with friends and family. He also loves to go running, biking, and taking strolls to get some fresh air. He is also bilingual and can speak both English and Arabic.
